It is one of the most well liked dim sum in the world. But are you actually eating it the right way? Read on to learn how to eat XLB like a pro!

XLBs are usually served piping hot, so if you just bite it, you will just hurt your tongue. Two ways you can approach it, first, just wait for it to cool down. But it will take forever, so use the second approach.

Firstly, it is extremely important to put a XLB on your spoon without breaking it. How to do it successfully? Use your chopsticks and grab the XLB by its tip and slowly leave it up. After you putting on your spoon, using your chopsticks, poke a tiny hole on the XLB and let the broth flow out on your spoon. Slurp the juice and then enjoy the dumpling!

To add more flavours, you can dip some vinegar and take a small shred of ginger. But before doing that, you should taste the real essence of the XLB.
